M&E COORDINATOR

M&E COORDINATOR - Kuching
Requirements & Qualifications:
Diploma / Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 2–5 years relevant working experience in construction projects 
Familiar with M&E systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing & sanitary, fire protection, ELV systems.
Able to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in MS Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an added advantage
Job Description:
Coordinate and supervise all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works on site to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
Liaise with consultants, main contractors, sub-contractors, and suppliers on M&E matters.
Review M&E shop drawings, material submissions, method statements, and technical proposals.
Monitor site progress, quality of workmanship, and ensure works are completed according to schedule.
Attend site meetings and coordinate M&E interfaces with architectural and structural works.
Identify and resolve M&E technical issues on site.
Ensure M&E works comply with local authority requirements, safety standards, and statutory regulations.
Prepare progress reports, inspection records, and as-built drawings
Assist in testing, commissioning, and handover of M&E systems.
