QA QC LABORATORY TECHNICIAN

QA QC LABORATORY TECHNICIAN- Kuching
Urban Empire Builders Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a QAQC Lab Technician to support laboratory testing and quality control 
activities for construction and precast materials.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting material and concrete testing, maintaining accurate test 
records, monitoring product quality and assisting the QAQC team in ensuring that materials and finished products 
comply with approved specifications, standards and project requirements..
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct quality testing of fresh and hardened concrete according to approved procedures and applicable   standards,
Perform fresh concrete tests such as slump, temperature, density/unit weight, air content and other required   tests. 
Prepare conrete cube/cylinder specimens and conduct compressive strength tests, ensuring accurate recording   of results.
Inspects and test raw materials including cement, aggregates, admixtures, and water to ensure they meet   specifications.
Ensure laboratory equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and in good workng condition.
Report failed test results, non-conforming materials, defective products, and quality issues to the QA/QC   Engineer or Supervisor, and assist with investigations and corrective actions. 
Ensure laboratory and testing activities comply with SOPs, safety requirements, project specifications, and   applicable concrete/precast standards, while maintaining good laboratory housekeeping. 
Coordinate with production and batching plant personnel on concrete testing results and quality requirements.
Assist with trial mixes, mix design verification, inspections, audits, and third-party/customer testing when   required.
Requirements:
5 years of experience in concrete or precast laboratory testing and quality
Training/certification in concrete testing, laboratory procedures, and applicable standards.
