PROJECT FINANCE - Kuching, Sarawak (Demak Laut)
Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing and monitoring project budgets, costs and financial records.
Track project expenses, purchase orders, invoices and payment status.
Prepare and maintain project financial reports and supporting documents.
Monitor project billing and follow up on outstanding invoices or payments.
Coordinate with project teams, suppliers, subcontractors and management on financial matters.
Assist in checking claims, invoices and supporting documents before submission.
Maintain proper records of project-related financial transactions.
Monitor actual project costs against approved budgets and highlight any significant variances.
Support month-end reporting, project cost reconciliation and other finance-related tasks.
Ensure all financial documents are properly filed and updated for audit and management purposes.
Requirements:
Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
Candidates with relevant accounting or finance certification are encouraged to apply.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Open to candidates from any industry background; experience in telecommunications, construction or project-based industries will be an added advantage.
Basic knowledge of accounting, budgeting, invoicing and financial documentation.
Certificate in Accounting, Certificate in Finance, Bookkeeping Certificate, LCCI Accounting/Bookkeeping, ACCA Foundation in Accountancy (FIA)/CAT, or other equivalent accounting-related certificates will be an added advantage
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and other Microsoft Office applications.
Good numerical, analytical and organizational skills.
Able to work independently and coordinate with project and finance teams.
Good communication and documentation skills.
