Job Summary:
To supervise daily site activities, enforce workplace safety rules, minimize accidents, and ensure the project site remains fully compliant with the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Daily Inspections: Conduct routine site walkthroughs to identify hazards and immediately rectify unsafe acts or conditions.
Toolbox Talks: Lead mandatory safety briefings and toolbox meetings with sub-contractors and site workers.
Risk Assessments: Review, update, and implement Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control (HIRARC) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
PPE Enforcement: Ensure all site personnel and contractors strictly wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Subcontractor Management: Monitor subcontractors to ensure compliance with the site's safety management system.
Incident Management: Report all near-misses, accidents, or dangerous occurrences to the Safety and Health Officer (SHO) and assist in investigations.
Statutory Compliance: Inspect machinery, scaffoldings, first-aid kits, and fire-fighting tools to ensure they comply with DOSH legal requirements.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain up-to-date safety logs, safety inspection summaries, and site incident reports.

Job Requirements & Qualifications:
Certification (Mandatory): Must possess a valid Competent Site Safety Supervisor registration with DOSH (Yellow Book holder).
Education: Minimum of a Certificate or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a construction-related field.
Experience: At least 1 to 3 years of working experience in construction site safety supervision in Malaysia.
Legal Knowledge: Thorough understanding of the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 1994 and Factories and Machinery (BOWEC) Regulations.
Soft Skills: Strong communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English to instruct diverse construction crews.
