PROJECT ENGINEER

PROJECT ENGINEER - Kuching
Responsibility:
Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and executing construction activities.
Supervise daily site operations to ensure work is carried out according to drawings, specifications, and project   schedule.
Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth   project execution.
Monitor project progress, site productivity, materials, and equipment utilisation.
Identify and resolve technical and site issues, and recommend practical engineering solutions.
Prepare project reports, maintain documentation, and attend site meetings.
Ensure compliance with QA/QC requirements, company SOPs, HSE Policies, and contractual obligations.
Requirements: 
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in construction project
Experience in roadwork, infrastructure, bridges, drainage, earthworks or civil engineering projects is an advantage
Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and related engineering software
Strong coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills
Willing to travel to project sites as required
Registered with a valid BEM Certificate
