SITE ENGINEER

SITE ENGINEER - Kuching
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. 
Preferably candidate who have working experience in construction industry. 
Able to communicate with contractors, consultants and relevant parties is required for this position. 
Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines. 
Good negotiation and interpersonal skills. 
Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin. 
Minimum 2 years’ experience in related field.
Jobs and Responsibilities:
Assist the project manager with project management and construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget 
Supervise and monitor all trades of site activities and ensure all the specifications are met. 
Coordinate client meetings, prepare work program, minutes, liaise with stakeholders and update project status. 
Inspect contractor’s work, ensure compliance with construction drawings and specifications and address issues. 
Ensure quality of work conforms to required standards. 
Document all activities on site and issue site memos if necessary. 
Other duties and assignments to be assigned by the Management as and when necessary. 
Coordinate submissions for relevant approvals, respond to queries and ensure timely approvals. 
Well versed. 
Willing to work on site.
