SENIOR PLANNER

Responsibilities: 
 

• Undertake project planning and scheduling engagements for our client
• Develop strategy to meet project requirements or client’s expectations
• Perform project control management as per contract requirements
• Lead the team in performing estimations for timescales and costs
• Organize the procurement strategy Supervise the project status at all stages and provide solutions to mitigate issues
• Production of “what if” scenarios and ad-hoc analysis as required
• Recognize and modify plans arising from the impact of variations
• Recognize delay events and perform analysis as a basis for extension of time applications
• Produce catch-up plans for internal or external monitoring
• Ensure procedures are carried out safely
• Organize and facilitate meetings with the clients and project team
• Collaborate with site managers, surveyors, engineers, sub contractors and other professionals
• Advise and assist all users and sponsors of the plans, including process owners
• Develop improvements in planning standards, procedures, processes, and systems
• Provide mentoring to clients or end users in project management methodologies
• Provide knowledge mentoring to junior staff in areas of project controls

Requirement:
 

• Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Professional Qualification in an engineering field or equivalent
• At least 5 years’ working experience in project-related field such as in infrastructure, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical discipline
• Competent use of Oracle Primavera P6 and/or other planning softwares
• Knowledge of BIM-related software will be an added advantage
• Willing to travel ·Keen interest in learning new products and services to enhance skill sets
• Has an intimate understanding of project management methodologies and construction sequences
• Good communication skills, both orally or written
