SITE ENGINEER

Job Responsibilities

• Supervising and coordinating daily site activities to ensure construction works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Monitoring construction progress and ensuring works are completed within the required timeline and quality standards.
• Reviewing construction drawings, technical specifications, and method statements to ensure proper implementation on site.
• Coordinating with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth site operations.
• Conducting regular site inspections to monitor workmanship, materials, and compliance with project requirements.
• Identifying and resolving technical issues, site discrepancies, and construction-related problems.
• Preparing daily site reports, progress updates, and other relevant project documentation.
• Monitoring manpower, materials, equipment, and resources to ensure efficient utilization on site.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company procedures.
• Assisting in project planning, scheduling, and coordination to achieve project milestones.

What we're looking for

• A recognised Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Building Construction, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Proven experience working as a Site Engineer in the construction industry, preferably in building construction projects.
• Familiar with construction drawings, technical specifications, site supervision, and construction methods.
• Good understanding of construction processes, project scheduling, and quality control procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD. Knowledge of project scheduling software is an advantage.
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to work effectively with project teams, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple site activities.
• Able to work independently, handle site challenges, and meet project deadlines.
• Willing to work on-site and coordinate construction activities as required.
