M & E CLERK OF WORKS

We are seeking an experienced and responsible M&E Clerk of Works to join our project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring site activities, supervising M&E installation works and ensuring that works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out daily site supervision and monitoring of Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) works.
• Inspect and monitor the quality of M&E installation works.
• Ensure site works comply with approved drawings, specifications and construction requirements.
• Coordinate daily site activities with the main contractor, subcontractors and project team.
• Monitor work progress and report any site issues or delays.
• Identify defects, discrepancies and non-compliance issues and follow up on corrective actions.
• Attend site inspections and coordination meetings.
• Maintain daily site records, inspection reports and progress documentation.
• Assist the project team in resolving day-to-day site coordination matters.

Requirements

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in M&E site supervision.
• Good knowledge of M&E installation works and construction practices.
• Able to interpret and understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Good observation, reporting and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and manage daily site supervision with minimal supervision.
• Responsible, detail-oriented and committed to project quality.
