SAFETY AND QUALITY CONTROL OFFICER
AREA KOTA SAMARAHAN & KUCHING
Location: Kuching & Kota Samarahan
Responsibilities:
Monitor and enforce Occupational Safety, Health & Environment (OSHE) requirements at construction sites.
Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify unsafe conditions or work practices.
Ensure workers and subcontractors comply with site safety procedures and proper use of PPE.
Conduct safety inductions, toolbox briefings and maintain relevant safety records.
Carry out quality inspections on construction works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and workmanship standards.
Identify defects and non-conforming works and coordinate with site personnel for rectification.
Maintain safety and quality inspection records, checklists and reports.
Work closely with Project Managers, Site Supervisors and subcontractors on safety and quality matters.
Perform other related duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications:
Minimum Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
Relevant JKKP (DOSH) registration/certification will be an advantage.
Knowledge of construction site safety and quality control is preferred.
Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently and conduct regular site inspections.
