SALES REPRESENTATIVE

SALES REPRESENTATIVE - Bintawa, Kuching
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong business relationships with existing and prospective customers within the assigned   sales territory.
Conduct regular sales visits to supermarkets, sundry shops, retail outlets and other potential customers.
Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities to expand market coverage and increase sales.
Promote the company’s products and provide customers with accurate information on products, pricing,   promotions, availability and credit terms.
Take and process customer orders accurately and ensure timely follow-up on orders and deliveries.
Attend promptly to customer inquiries, feedback and sales-related matters.
Work closely with the Sales & Marketing, Accounting and Logistics departments to ensure smooth order   processing, delivery and customer service.
Follow up on outstanding accounts and ensure timely collection of payments in accordance with the company’s   credit terms and policies.
Monitor market trends, customer needs and competitor activities, and provide relevant market feedback to the   Management.
Achieve sales targets and performance objectives set by the company.
Perform any other sales-related or ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Management.
Requirements
Minimum SPM/STPM or equivalent qualification.
Preferably with at least 3 years of relevant sales experience.
Prior sales experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry is preferred.
Candidates with an established network and strong business relationships with supermarkets, sundry shops and   retail outlets will be given preference.
Must be able to understand, speak, read and write in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia and English.
Strong sales, negotiation and customer relationship management skills.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Self-motivated, results-oriented and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Responsible, honest, trustworthy and committed to maintaining a high level of integrity and professionalism.
Must possess a valid driving licence and own transport.
Willing to travel within the assigned sales territory as required.
