PROJECT ENGINEER (MEMBRANE FILTRATION) - Kuching
Primary Responsibilities:
To support project execution activities including planning, installation supervision, coordination, commissioning
support and documentation to ensure membrane filtration projects are delivered safely on time and according
to specification.
Job Responsibilities:
To support project planning and progress coordination, including:
o Assist in preparing project schedules, resource plans and activity sequences.
o Track task progress and highlight delays or issues.
o Coordinate daily activities with site teams, contractors and vendors.
To support installation supervision and site execution.
o Monitor installation work to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
o Conduct quality checks and report deviations.
o Resolve minor issues on site and escalate complex matters.
To perform in commissioning and testing activities.
o Support preparation of commissioning plans and test checklists.
o Participate in FAT / SAT, start-up and performance tests.
o Record test data and assist in optimization actions.
To prepare and maintain project documentation.
o Compile progress reports, site records, test results and handover documents.
o Maintain proper document control and traceability.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or equivalent engineering discipline relevant to project execution.
Minimum 2 years of experience in water treatment construction projects will be an added advantage.
Strong understanding of project lifecycle and operational requirements.
Recognized training or certification in membrane filtration technologies will be an added advantage.
This position requires frequent site visits for installation and commissioning, and occasionally extended hours
during project peaks or operational issues.

Strong planning and prioritization skills are critical to meet all obligations.
