ACCOUNTANT - Kuching
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The successful 
candidate will be responsible for managing the company's accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, 
maintaining compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and providing financial insights to support 
business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Handle and oversee the full set of accounts.
Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
Monitor cash flow and assist in budgeting and forecasting.
Ensure timely and accurate statutory submissions and tax compliance.
Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, and government authorities.
Ensure compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), company policies, and relevant   regulations.
Support internal controls and continuously improve accounting processes.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Professional membership with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA)/ CPA/ACCA/CIMA is required.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in handling a full set of accounts and preparing management reports.
Knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, taxation, and statutory requirements.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Able to work independently while meeting tight deadlines.
