04 TECHNICIAN – Kuching
Job Responsibilities
Carry out routine inspections, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems, including electrical systems, air-conditioning, fire protection systems, lifts, CCTV, generators, pumps, and other building services equipment.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance works, minor repairs, replacements, and ensure all building equipment and facilities are functioning efficiently and safely at all times.
Coordinate and monitor maintenance contractors to ensure servicing works are carried out according to approved schedules, specifications, and company standards.
Maintain accurate records and reports on maintenance activities, equipment performance, utility consumption, and promptly report any defects or urgent matters to Management.
Ensure all M&E equipment rooms, plant rooms, and work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, and operational condition while complying with established safety procedures and regulations.
Job Requirements
Minimum Certificate, Diploma, or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Facilities Management, or related disciplines.
Minimum two (2) years of working experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or related technical fields.
Knowledge in troubleshooting and maintenance of M&E systems, including electrical, air-conditioning, fire protection, lift, and building services systems.
Possession of PW4, PW2, or any relevant technical certification will be an added advantage.
Able to work independently, respond to emergencies, and perform hands-on maintenance works with minimum supervision.
