QUANTITY SURVEYOR - Kuching
Job Description:
RSJ Engineering is looking for a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to manage project costs from initial tender to 
final account. You will be instrumental in minimizing the costs of our M&E projects while maintaining strict quality 
and compliance standards. Experience in plumbing and fire prevention systems is highly advantageous.
Job Scope:
Tendering & BQ: Prepare and evaluate tender documents, Bills of Quantities (BQ), and cost estimates for   upcoming M&E projects.
Progress Claims: Prepare, submit, and track monthly progress claims to clients and main contractors in a timely   manner.
Subcontractor Management: Evaluate and verify subcontractor claims, prepare payment certificates, and   manage final accounts.
Cost Control: Monitor project budgets, track variations (VOs), and provide regular financial reports to   management to ensure project profitability.
Material Sourcing: Assist in sourcing, negotiating, and procuring project materials at competitive prices   without compromising on quality.
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
Detail oriented with strong numerical and analytical skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD or other takeoff software is a plus
