QUANTITY SURVEYOR (QS)

QUANTITY SURVEYOR (QS) (Full Time/Part Time)    
Prepare and manage pre-contract work: tender documentation, BQ taking-off, pricing comparisons,  tender evaluation, and recommendations.
Handle post-contract cost control: budget tracking, cost reporting, cashflow projections, and   forecasting final account.
Measure and verify site progress, prepare interim valuations, and certify subcontractor/main   contractor claims (based on contract terms).
Manage variations: receive VO/AI, evaluate cost/time impact, prepare quotations, negotiate rates,   and maintain variation registers.
Prepare and review subcontract packages: scope, measurement, contract conditions, payment   terms, and progress claim templates.
Prepare payment certificates, monitor retention, and ensure supporting documents are complete   before payment processing.
Coordinate with consultants (architect/C&S/M&E) on design changes, instructions, and cost   implications.
Manage procurement support: obtain quotations from suppliers/subcons, compare, negotiate, and   advise on best value.
Maintain cost documentation: VO files, rate build-ups, correspondence, meeting minutes (cost   items), and approval trails.
Assist in final account settlement: reconciliation, measurement, variation agreement, and close-out   documentation.
Support project governance: attend meetings, provide cost updates, highlight risks, and propose   cost-saving alternatives (value engineering).
