CIVIL ENGINEER

Can be based in Sibu, Bintulu, Mukah/ Sarawak region
Office HQ is located at 15 1/2 miles, Kuching Outer Ring Rd, 94200 Kota Samarahan, Sarawak

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare, review, and develop engineering designs for infrastructure and construction-related projects.
• Liaise and coordinate with clients, relevant authorities, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle, including design changes, drawing revisions, technical modifications, and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other technical parties on specialised or non-standard engineering matters, and collaborate with the project team to resolve technical issues.
• Check and verify engineering calculations, drawings, and technical documents to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to quality standards.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, with valid IEM membership and BEM registration.
• Minimum two (2) years of relevant working experience in construction, infrastructure, or project-based engineering environments.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision; strong analytical and results-oriented mindset.
• Familiarity with engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, EPANET, ESTEEM, STAAD.Pro, Prokon, or other relevant engineering tools will be an added advantage.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
• Team-oriented with a positive and professional working attitude.
• Must be willing to travel to project sites as needed
