Handle and ensure accurate recording of accounting transactions, including journal entries, invoices, accruals, adjustments, reconciliations, and timely monthly/year-end closing in compliance with accounting standards and company procedures.
Prepare monthly and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow). Assist in management financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance reporting.
Monitor company cash flow, fund management, banking activities, and debtors and creditors ageing, and coordinate with Sales & Marketing on collection and credit control matters.
Liaise with auditors and tax agents.
Maintain company asset registers
Coordinate and support general administrative operations including office utilities, service contracts, vendor performance, and compliance with procurement SOPs and LOA requirements.
Ensure proper documentation and controls for purchase activities.
Handle and maintain confidential corporate and statutory records and liaise with the Company Secretary
REQUIREMENTS
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years’ working experience in finance and administration roles; experience in manufacturing, construction, or project-based environments will be an added advantage.
Good knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and statutory requirements in Malaysia.
Hands-on experience with accounting software; AutoCount knowledge is an added advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications; ability to prepare financial reports and analysis.
