Job Purpose
- Coordinate all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works on the construction project.
- Ensure smooth planning, execution, and monitoring of M&E installations in line with design, quality, and safety standards.
- Liaise between site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and authorities to avoid delays and clashes.
Key Responsibilities
A. Coordination & Planning
- Review M&E drawings, shop drawings, and coordination drawings.
- Plan the sequence of M&E works and avoid clashes with architectural and structural works.
- Attend coordination and technical meetings with consultants, client, and site teams.
B. Site Monitoring
- Monitor daily M&E works including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and ELV systems.
- Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with approved drawings and QA/QC standards.
- Track progress and report deviations to the Project Manager.
C. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain logs of drawings, RFIs, material submissions, and installation progress.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management.
- Ensure proper documentation for Testing & Commissioning (T&C) and as-built records.
D. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all M&E works follow safety procedures and authority regulations.
- Assist in permits, approvals, and coordination with local authorities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
- 3–5 years of experience in M&E coordination for building or infrastructure projects.
- Good knowledge of M&E systems, drawings, and installation methods.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
