Job Purpose
- Oversee daily site operations to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
- Coordinate all site activities, manpower, materials, and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
A. Site Management & Coordination
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities and monitor progress against schedule.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and client representatives.
- Plan and implement site logistics including material delivery and storage.
B. Quality Control
- Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
- Conduct inspections and rectify non-conformance issues.
- Maintain site records including inspection forms and progress documentation.
C. Safety & Compliance
- Enforce site safety rules and ensure compliance with OSHA and project safety policies.
- Conduct toolbox meetings and monitor workers’ safety behavior.
- Report incidents or unsafe conditions to management.
D. Progress Monitoring & Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Assist in preparing work schedules, construction programs, and method statements.
- Highlight delays or issues affecting progress and propose solutions.
E. Site Administration
- Manage site documentation, permits, drawings, and work orders.
- Verify subcontractors’ work for certification and payment claims.
- Ensure proper upkeep of site office, equipment, and facilities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant construction site experience.
- Knowledge of construction drawings, quality standards, and local regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
