AIRFREIGHT BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE

Location: Kuching - Unit AT610, Level 6, Tower A2, Icom Square, Seksyen 64, KTLD, Jalan Pending, 93450 Kuching, Sarawak.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in airfreight operations, pricing or business development.
• Good knowledge of airline rates, airfreight costing, consolidation and cargo handling procedures.
• Experience in negotiating rates with airlines, GSA and overseas agents.
• Ability to develop new customers, trade lanes and airfreight business opportunities.
• Able to work closely with sales and operations teams to grow shipment volume and ensure smooth execution.
• Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop AGA’s inbound/outbound airfreight and consolidation products.
• Source competitive rates and establish partnerships with airlines and agents.
• Build shipment volume through customer and agent development.
• Monitor costing and shipment profitability.
• Coordinate with internal teams to establish SOPs and improve operational efficiency.
