Job Purpose
To support our growth in building & construction works, facilities management, and renewable energy systems by
assisting in business development, marketing, tender preparation, cost estimation, and project transition. The role
also provides ad-hoc support for site visits and project coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Support Business Development including marketing, tender, and cost estimation activities.
- Support project transitioning upon confirmation of award and provide ad-hoc support for site visit works.
- Liaise and coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities, specialist trade contractors, and vendors for tender clarifications, cost estimation, submissions, delivery and completion of projects within agreed budget, timeline, and quality.
- Assist in formation and coordination of project/site workforce and resource requirements for tender and project transition, support handover to project/operation team upon award,
- Assist Director/Operation Manager to co-lead, co-formulate Blueprints, manage, and administer Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality (HSEQ) requirements in proposals and project transition.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Degree in Engineering – Civil, Electrical, Mechanical or equivalent.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant industrial experience
- Experienced in handling proposals/tenders for small to large projects;
- Possess relevant knowledge in preparing and administering contracts, BQ preparation, cost estimation, tender submissions, procurement and cost control
- Well-connected with industry stakeholders, suppliers, contractors, consultants, and authorities, both domestic and overseas, is an advantage.
- Possess required technical knowledge and familiar with multi-faceted design and project management software/ skillsets, including CAD, scheduling tools, Excel and estimating tools, PV/EV design software is an added advantage
- Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin or local dialects are an advantage.
- Willing to travel for site visits, tender interviews, and client meetings within Sarawak, Sabah, and Malaysia.
