Job Details
  • The candidate shall have a BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering, preferably in heavy rotating (hydropower) machinery equipment or hydraulic steelwork.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience design, manufacturing monitoring, commissioning of (hydro) mechanical equipment 
  • Knowledge of international design guidelines and requirements
  • Experience as a Mechanical Engineer or a project manager for interdisciplinary projects
  • Fluent in English both written and spoken
  • Experience with hydropower mechanical equipment and associated auxiliary systems will be advantageous.
  • Ability to review drawings, method statements, ITPs and other site technical documentation.
  • Monitor installation works for compliance with approved drawings, specifications and applicable standards.
  • Willingness to travel to and be based at site as required support site inspections, testing, commissioning and resolution of technical issues and non-conformances.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
