Job Details
- The candidate shall have a BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering, preferably with experience in power generation, hydropower, substations and switchyards or similar.
- Minimum 15 years relevant experience in electrical design, design review, construction supervision, testing and commissioning.
- Experience with HV and LV systems, switchgear, protection and control, AC/DC systems and electrical auxiliaries.
- Experience with power transformers and large generators would be advantageous.
- Review electrical drawings, specifications, calculations and technical submissions for compliance with project requirements, applicable standards and approved design criteria.
- Support implementation of electrical works during construction, including site inspections, installation verification, testing and commissioning.
- Provide technical input on design coordination, interfaces, construction.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, contractors, OEMs and the Employer.
- Knowledge of relevant international standards and Malaysian requirements.
- Preferably registered as a Professional Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
