SCHOOL IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST - Kuching
Job description
Provide daily IT support to teachers, staff and students.
Install, maintain and troubleshoot computers, laptops, Chromebooks, printers, projectors and classroom technology.
Support Windows, macOS, ChromeOS and school software/applications.
Manage user accounts, Google Workspace for Education and other school IT systems.
Maintain and troubleshoot wired/wireless networks, Wi-Fi and connectivity issues.
Maintain IT inventory, security, backups and system documentation.
Provide IT setup and technical support for school events and activities.
Perform other IT-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
Relevant IT support experience; school experience is an advantage.
Good knowledge of computer hardware, software and basic networking.
Familiar with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 and device management systems.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and customer-service skills.
Responsible, organized and able to work independently.
Relevant IT certifications will be an added advantage.
