SENIOR ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE/ACCOUNTANT

SENIOR ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE/ACCOUNTANT - Kuching, Sarawak 
Job Responsibilities:
Manage the full set of accounts, ensuring timely and accurate monthly closing, reconciliations and financial   reporting;
Lead budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management to drive business growth and maintain healthy liquidity;
Prepare detailed financial statements and provide actionable insights to management regarding financial   performance, position and cash flow trends;
Liaise with bankers, external auditors, tax agents, company secretary and local authorities to ensure compliance;
Maintain accurate financial records and accounts in compliance with accounting standards and statutory   regulations;
Ensure full compliance with tax regulations and oversee the accurate preparation of tax returns.
Job Requirements:
Degree in Accounting/Finance or professional accounting qualification (ACCA/CPA);
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in construction industry;
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications;
Solid understanding of bank facilities, including overdrafts, term loans, trade facilities, bank guarantees and loan   documentation;
Deep understanding of construction contracts, project claims, and project cost tracking is highly preferred;
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and a positive attitude;
Able to work independently.
