
ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
Job Responsibilities
Handle the full set of accounts and ensure accurate financial records.
Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
Monitor and reconcile bank, customer, supplier, and intercompany accounts.
Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
Prepare payment schedules and process supplier payments.
Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts.
Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
Ensure timely statutory submissions and liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and bankers.
Assist in budgeting, financial analysis, and management reporting.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Supervise and guide Account Assistants.
Support Management and Directors with financial analysis and ad-hoc assignments.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of accounting experience. Experience in handling a full set of accounts is preferred.
Knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and statutory requirements.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and accounting software (e.g. AutoCount).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
