PROJECT ENGINEER - Within Sarawak
Responsibility:
Monitor site progress and ensure work is carried out according to drawings and specifications.
To assist Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and execution of construction works.
Liaising with project clients, consultants & suppliers in project delivery related matters.
To monitor project progress and ensure projects are completed on schedule and budget.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, SOP, and company policies.
Conduct site inspections and quality control checks.
Ensure timely submission of reports including monthly progress report and QAQC report, drawings, and documentation.
Resolve technical issues on-site and provide engineering solutions.
Monitor material usage and control wastage.
To monitor and co-ordinate project claims.
Qualification:
Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Minimum 3–5 years of working experience in construction project
Experience in roadwork, infrastructure, or building projects is an advantage
Able to read and interpret technical drawings
Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
Strong coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage
