PURCHASING ASSISTANT (Sibu)
Job description:
Prepare and process quotations, sales orders (SO), and purchase orders (PO)
Follow up with suppliers on order status, delivery schedules, and product availability
Coordinate with Sales, Warehouse, and Logistics teams
Maintain purchasing records and product master data
Monitor supplier pricing and purchasing transactions
Create and maintain barcode records for products
Prepare supplier claim documentation for damaged goods
Ensure proper filing and documentation control
Support daily procurement and administrative operations
Requirements:
Diploma or equivalent
Experience in purchasing or procurement is an advantage
Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting systems
Good communication and coordination skills
Detail-oriented and organized
Able to work independently and in a team
