PROJECT ENGINEER - MECHANICAL

PROJECT ENGINEER – MECHANICAL (Kuching, Sarawak)
Job Description:
Plan and oversee all mechanical works including piping, HVAC systems, rotating equipment, static equipment, and machinery installation. 
Review and interpret engineering drawings (P&ID, GA drawings, isometrics) and technical specifications. 
Ensure all works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, method statements, and standards. 
Coordinate with other disciplines (CSA, Electrical, Instrumentation) to ensure integrated project execution. 
Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors on technical and site matters. 
Monitor project progress, identify delays, and implement corrective actions to meet timelines.
Support and oversee testing & commissioning activities, including pre-commissioning checks.
Ensure compliance with HSE policies and enforce safety practices on site. 
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese.
Computer literate, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
