ASSISTANT PROJECT SITE ENGINEER (Project Based) - 4 posts
Location: Sibu Division, Miri Division, Mukah Division & Kapit Division
Key Responsibilites:
Site Support & Supervision
Assist in coordinating daily site activities and subcontractors.
Monitor work progress and report to Project Site Engineer.
Check material delivery and site usage.
Prepare basic site reports.
Technical Support
Assist in ensuring work follows approved drawings and plans.
Check drawings and ensure latest versions are used.
Take site measurements and verify work done.
Support in resolving technical issues and preparing as-built documents.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
Follow safety and health regulations on site.
Ensure workers comply with safety requirements.
Assist in QA/QC checks and rectification work.
Coordination & Communication
Assist in inspections (RFI) and follow up on site issues (NCRs, comments).
Maintain site records and documentation.
Coordinate with subcontractors and attend site meetings.
Other Duties
Carry out tasks assigned by the Project Site Engineer or management.
Requirement:
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) with 1–3 years of construction/site experience.
Basic knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.
Good communication skills and ability to liaise with subcontractors, consultants, and authorities.
Able to work under pressure, multitask, and adapt to site conditions.
Team player with strong collaboration skills.
Proactive in identifying and solving problems.
Able to follow instructions effectively.
Possess a valid CIDB Green Card.
Willing to travel and/or station in rural areas.
