PROJECT SITE ENGINEER (Project Based) - 4 posts
Location: Sibu Division, Miri Division, Mukah Division & Kapit Division
Key Responsibilities:
Site Management & Leadership
Coordinate daily site work with subcontractors and suppliers.
Monitor progress and update schedules.
Plan work to avoid delays and conflicts.
Track subcontractor performance, materials, and site usage.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
Identify potential delays and suggest solutions.
Technical & Engineering
Ensure work meets drawings, specifications, and method statements.
Review drawings and documents before submission.
Coordinate with consultants on technical issues.
Control and update all site drawings.
Verify site measurements and subcontractor claims.
Assist with as-built drawings and project handover documents.
Coordination & Communication
Liaise with consultants for inspections and approvals.
Attend site meetings and address client concerns.
Arrange inspections (RFI) and respond to site issues (NCRs, queries).
Maintain proper records (drawings, reports, RFIs, etc.).
Track site instructions, variations, and correspondence.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
Follow quality, safety, and health regulations.
Ensure compliance with legal and project requirements.
Monitor subcontractors’ safety practices.
Implement QA/QC procedures and keep records.
Take responsibility for site safety and health.
Other Duties
Perform any additional tasks assigned by management.
Requirement:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) with 3–5 years of site/construction
experience.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and standards.
Ability to manage and supervise projects independently.
Good communication skills and able to coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and
authorities.
Proficient in MS Office and project management tools.
Able to multitask, work under pressure, and solve problems proactively.
Team player with good collaboration skills.
Possess a valid CIDB Green Card.
Willing to travel and/or station in rural areas.
