ENVIRONMENTAL OFFICER

ENVIRONMENTAL OFFICER - Julau and Kuching
We are seeking a responsible and proactive Environmental Officer for our Kuching and Julau project to monitor and 
ensure environmental compliance at construction sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing 
environmental management plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and promoting sustainable 
construction practices.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular site inspections and follow up actions to ensure compliance with legal requirements, EIA Approval 
    Condition, EMP (Environmental Management Plan) and audits to identify potential environmental risks and develop 
    appropriate control measures.
Update any new regulations announced by Department of Environment (DOE) / Natural Environmental and 
    Resources Board (NREB) and other authorities relating to the Environmental.
Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to environmental regulations, standards, and project-specific 
    environmental requirements.
Conduct environmental assessments and impact studies for construction projects to identify potential environmental 
    risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement environmental management plans (EMPs) and procedures to mitigate adverse 
    environmental impacts during project execution.
Coordinate with external stakeholders, such as regulatory agencies and environmental consultants, to ensure 
    compliance with permits and regulations.
Conduct regular environmental awareness training to enhance staff understanding of environmental protection.
Maintain a high level of safety throughout the execution of assigned tasks and strictly adhere to the HSE policy.
Assist the company in passing environmental audits and certifications.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related fields
Minimum 3 years’ experience in environmental management
Competent in Malaysia safety regulations & standard and environmental law & regulations.
This position to be based on Julau, Sarikei & Kuching, Sarawak
