INSPECTOR OF WORKS – CIVIL & STRUCTURAL (Based in Kanowit) - 1 post
Requirements:
Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in construction (preferred).
Familiar with construction standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect and monitor civil and structural works at site to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
Ensure all construction works meet required quality standards and regulations.
Supervise contractors’ work progress and workmanship on site.
Conduct regular site inspection and report any defects or non-compliance.
Verify materials delivered to site are in accordance with specifications.
Witness and record site tests (e.g., concrete tests, material tests).
Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and contractors on site matters.
Maintain proper site records, reports, and documentation.
Ensure safety practices and procedures are followed on site.
