SITE ENGINEER
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, craftspeople and operatives.
Check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
Ensure that all materials used and work performed are in accordance with the specifications.
Oversee the selection and requisition of materials.
Liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
Communicate with clients and their representatives and Project Manager including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress.
Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors
Prepare reports as required.
Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
REQUIREMENTS
Preferably candidates with Civil engineering background from recognized institutes or equivalent.
Able to communicate well in English and Malay (written and spoken)
3 years and above working experience in related field, however fresh graduate is encourage to apply.
Familiar with design software and computer literate
Good interpersonal skills, presentation and project management.
Ability to work independently yet co-ordinates and teamwork seamlessly with subordinates.
Able to travel or relocate when needed.
