
FINANCE MANAGER / ASSISTANT FINANCE MANAGER
Assist in developing and implementing financial goals, policies, priorities, and procedures.
Supervise and participate in the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and monthly closing reports.
Direct the installation and maintenance of accounting, timekeeping, inventory, property, and other financial control systems.
Conduct cost analyses, rate studies, and prepare reports on estimated future costs, revenues, and budget variances.
Verify and check all payment vouchers, cheques, and petty cash transactions before authorization.
Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, investigate discrepancies, analyze rebates and miscellaneous charges, and recommend write-offs of uncollectable accounts.
Review financial statements and reports with management personnel, providing insights for decision-making.
Prepare and reconcile bank transactions, balance sheet accounts, fixed assets, and audit schedules.
Lead internal audits and coordinate external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and implementation of recommendations.
Establish system controls for new financial systems and improve existing processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Supervise finance and credit staff to ensure efficient and effective performance.
Assist in special projects, reporting, and other finance-related initiatives as required.
Requirements:
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; ACCA / CPA / equivalent is an advantage.
Minimum 5–8 years (Manager) / 3–5 years (Assistant Manager) of relevant finance experience.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards, budgeting, audits, and internal controls.
Experience supervising finance staff and handling month-end / year-end closing.
