DEPUTY MILL MANAGER

DEPUTY MILL MANAGER (Bintulu, Sarawak)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of palm oil mill operations, including management, planning, control, leadership, organization, and workforce management to ensure smooth, efficient, and cost-effective operations.
Take overall responsibility for mill performance, ensuring operations comply with established company policies, procedures, and industry best practices.
Maintain active communication with senior management, providing regular updates and 
Monitor and ensure optimal Oil Extraction Rate (OER) and Kernel Extraction Rate (KER), meeting production targets while minimizing wastage.
Plan and optimize production processes, manpower allocation, and resource utilization.
Ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements, including DOE, DOSH, and HSE standards.
Requirements: -
Degree Holder in Mechanical/Chemical/Industrial Engineering or any other related engineering disciplines
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in palm oil mill operations.
Possess a First Grade Steam Engineer Certificate of Competency.
Strong leadership qualities with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Well-rounded, practical knowledge in a manufacturing environment, with experience in lean management or process optimization preferred.
Cost-conscious with strong budgeting and cost-control skills, particularly in maintenance, utilities, and consumables.
Based in Bintulu, Sarawak.
