PROJECT ENGINEER (HIGH RISE)
Requirements:
- A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field is typically required.
- At least 3-5 years working experience in Building Structure & Infrastructure works
- Good communication skills to liaise with clients, consultants and subcontractors
- Proficiency with engineering software (Microsoft office, Microsoft project, AutoCAD etc.)
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Self-motivated and able to work as a team with minimum supervision
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager in developing and managing project planning, scheduling, and the execution of project activities to ensure effective project implementation.
- Coordinate all site activities with relevant parties, including sub-contractors, and monitor their work to ensure alignment with project specifications and quality standards.
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with the Project Manager and other team members, providing necessary assistance and technical support to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications to ensure that work is performed according to the design and maintain quality standards.
- Conduct routine site inspections to identify and resolve issues or discrepancies. Prepare accurate and detailed reports on site conditions, issues, and resolutions.
- Prepare and submit various reports including monthly progress reports, Quality Assurance/ Quality Control (QAQC) reports, daily reports, and other documentation as required.
- Produce work progress demarcation records on a monthly basis or as requested, to track and document the progress of construction activities.
- Attend site meetings, coordination meetings, technical meetings, and any other relevant meetings as required, to provide updates, address concerns, and coordinate with stakeholders.
