SENIOR DESIGN ENGINEER / DESIGN ENGINEER

Job Scope

• Perform structural design and analysis calculations.
• Collect design data and provide inputs required for drafting.
• Design and prepare structural drawings and construction drawings, ensuring they meet client requirements, and verify the drawings.
• Ensure the structural engineering is constructed according to specifications and drawings.
• Plan ahead to avoid problems and resolve potential issues.
• Able to read and understand architectural and structural drawings.
• Familiarity with steel structure design is preferred.

Job Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required, along with at least 3 years of work experience.
• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply – multiple positions are available.
• Preference will be given to candidates with BIM/drafting software knowledge, but it is not mandatory.
• Preference will be given to candidates who can operate multiple design software programs
• such as Tekla, Esteem, STAADPro, Prota, etc.).
• Fluent in English and Malay; Mandarin speakers are a plus.
• Training will be provided to continuously enhance design knowledge.
