ENGINEER – ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONIC

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate technicians and workers in the installation, maintenance, servicing and repair of electrical and electronic equipment and systems.
• Inspect completed work to ensure efficient operation in compliance with prescribed specifications and safety standards.
• Plan, implement and execute preventive maintenance programs and related activities.
• Troubleshoot and repair electronic cards and inverter-driven motors used in printing, loading and press machines.
• Analyse equipment performance, identify root causes of breakdowns and recommend and implement solutions to minimise production downtime.
• Provide technical support and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant working experience; familiarity with PLC programming is required. Experience in the ceramic industry is an added advantage.
• Strong leadership qualities with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a manufacturing environment.
