Develop and deliver practical training programs for logging division personnel on forestry skill set, best practices and certified operational procedures.
Lead the implementation, maintenance and audit preparation for forest management certification
mainly PEFC).
Travel frequently to remote logging camps and field sites to conduct on-site training, evaluation and mentorship.
Ensure all field operations comply with environmental standards and sustainable forestry principles.
Possess forest supervisory experience to advise on crew management, workflow optimizaton and quality control in the field.
Report to FMU Certification and C-Suite Management.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree In Administarion, Forestry, Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management or related field.
Minimum 2 to 5 years hands-on experience in forest operations, including direct logging division experience and forest supervision.
Proven practical experience with forest management certification system.
In depth knowledge of forestry regulations, harvesting techniques and silviculture.
Possess administration background with demonstrated commitment to sustainable forestry.
Possess strong instructional skills with the ability to train diverse crews in field setting.
Physically fit and healthy.
Able to travel extensivelly to remote camps and field locations due to work requirements on as and when basis.
