FOREST OPERATION TRAINER & CERTIFICATION SPECIALIST

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver practical training programs for logging division personnel on forestry skill set, best practices and certified operational procedures.
• Lead the implementation, maintenance and audit preparation for forest management certification
• mainly PEFC).
• Travel frequently to remote logging camps and field sites to conduct on-site training, evaluation and mentorship.
• Ensure all field operations comply with environmental standards and sustainable forestry principles.
• Possess forest supervisory experience to advise on crew management, workflow optimizaton and quality control in the field.
• Report to FMU Certification and C-Suite Management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree In Administarion, Forestry, Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management or related field.
• Minimum 2 to 5 years hands-on experience in forest operations, including direct logging division experience and forest supervision.
• Proven practical experience with forest management certification system.
• In depth knowledge of forestry regulations, harvesting techniques and silviculture.
• Possess administration background with demonstrated commitment to sustainable forestry.
• Possess strong instructional skills with the ability to train diverse crews in field setting.
• Physically fit and healthy.
• Able to travel extensivelly to remote camps and field locations due to work requirements on as and when basis.
