OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY & HEALTH (OSH) COORDINATOR

Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain OSH policies to ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA/local standards).
• Ensure ground OSHC to conduct workplace inspection, risk assessment and safety audit.
• Lead incident investigation and manage corrective action.
• Develop and deliver safety training for employees.
• Maintain all safety records, reports and documentation.
• Manage emergency preparedness plans and safety equipment/PPE.
• Promote a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement.
• Report to Senior Safety In Charge, FMU Certification or C-Suite Management.

Requirements:

• Associate’s Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Possess safety certification (e.g. OSHC, Green Book).
• 1 year and above hands-on experience in occupational safety / environmental.
• Preferably possess working knowledge of OSHA regulations and working experience in logging industry.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to conduct training and work with all levels of employees.
• Physically fit and healthy.
• Able to travel to remote camps due to work requirements on as and when basis.
