ACCOUNTANT

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the full spectrum of accounting functions, including accurate and timely month-end closing activities.
• Oversee annual budgeting processes and provide financial forecasts in alignment with strategic business plans.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and variance reports to support data-driven decision-making.
• Ensure systematic documentation and filing of financial records in accordance with audit, tax, and statutory compliance requirements.
• Perform day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger entries, payment processing, and journal adjustments.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Perform detailed bank reconciliations and ensure consistency across all financial records.
• Liaise effectively with external auditors, tax agents, banks, suppliers, and company leadership.
• Process monthly staff payroll, ensuring compliance with statutory deductions and internal policies.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Sarawakian.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in full set accounting, preferably with supervisory exposure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software (QNE).
• Self-motivated, resourceful, and capable of working independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• SALARY RANGE: RM3,200 – RM4,500
