DENTAL SURGICAL ASSISTANT (DSA)

Job Requirement:
 

• At least SPM or equivalent
• Knowledge of handling various dental instruments and tools is an advantage
• Proven ability to follow outlined policies and guidelines
• Possess a professional and positive attitude

Job Scope:
 

• Preparing patients for dental work.
• Prepare tables and trays for dentist with necessary instruments and supplies.
• Helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument  trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures.
• Assisting dentists in managing medical and dental emergencies when necessary.
• Assisting dentists with procedures when necessary.
• Taking x-rays for dental diagnostics and caring for dental x-ray equipment.
• Caring for dental equipment.
