SENIOR ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE/ACCOUNTANT

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the full set of accounts, ensuring timely and accurate monthly closing, reconciliations and financial reporting;
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management to drive business growth and maintain healthy liquidity;
• Prepare detailed financial statements and provide actionable insights to management regarding financial performance, position and cash flow trends;
• Liaise with bankers, external auditors, tax agents, company secretary and local authorities to ensure compliance;
• Maintain accurate financial records and accounts in compliance with accounting standards and statutory regulations;
• Ensure full compliance with tax regulations and oversee the accurate preparation of tax returns

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or professional accounting qualification (ACCA/CPA);
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in construction industry;
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications;
• Solid understanding of bank facilities, including overdrafts, term loans, trade facilities, bank guarantees and loan documentation;
• Deep understanding of construction contracts, project claims, and project cost tracking is highly preferred;
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and a positive attitude;
• Able to work independently.
