LORRY DRIVER

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum age of 21 years old.
• Possession of a valid Class E driving license and Goods Driving License (GDL).
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual handling duties.
• No criminal records.
• Have a basic knowledge of road routes within Kuching, Kota Samarahan and Simunjan, Sarawak.
• At least two (2) years of lorry driving experience with preference given to candidates with relevant experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver and collect materials at designated locations.
• Ensure timely completion of deliveries and collections.
• Handle and secure materials properly to prevent damage during transportation.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure the lorry is in safe and roadworthy condition.
• Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the assigned vehicle.
• Comply with traffic laws, road safety regulations and company procedures.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, or delivery issues to the immediate supervisor.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
