TEACHER (A-LEVEL & AUSMAT) – MATHEMATICS & FURTHER MATHEMATICS

Mode: Part Time / Full Time
Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable, passionate and adaptable teacher to join our Pre-University team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Teaching Cambridge A-Level Mathematics and/or Further Mathematics, and/or AUSMAT Mathematics Applications and/or AUSMAT Mathematics Methods
• Preparing and delivering engaging lessons to students from diverse backgrounds, interests and abilities.
• Supervising students in learning activities, investigations and other academic tasks.
• Keeping abreast of the latest instructional pedagogies and educational technologies to enhance teaching and learning.
• Preparing lesson plans, schemes of work, assessments and learning activities in accordance with curriculum requirements.
• Monitoring student performance and adapting instructional strategies to improve student learning and achievement.
• Communicating and working collaboratively with parents, coordinators, counsellors and other staff where necessary.
• Attending and supporting school meetings, departmental activities and other school events.

Job Specifications:

• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant field, or equivalent qualification.
• At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in a similar school setting.
• Possess a relevant teaching qualification, licence or certification where applicable.
• High preference will be given to candidates with Cambridge A-Level or Australian Matriculation (AUSMAT) teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of the relevant subject area.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Reliable, adaptable and committed to supporting students’ academic progress.
