Job Description
- Handle and maintain the company’s full set of accounts and daily accounting transactions.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, management accounts and other accounting reports.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payments, receipts and bank reconciliation.
- Prepare and process payroll related accounting entries and statutory contributions where required.
- Monitor project related expenses, costs, invoices and payments.
- Ensure proper recording and filing of accounting documents and supporting documents.
- Assist in budgeting, cash flow monitoring and financial planning.
- Prepare documents and information required for audits, tax submissions and statutory0 requirements.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, suppliers and relevant parties on accounting matters.
- Monitor outstanding payments and follow up on receivables.
- Ensure accounting records comply with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
- Perform other accounting and finance duties assigned by the Management.
Job Requirement
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.
- Experience in handling full set of accounts is preferred.
- Knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and statutory requirements.
- Strong attention to detail, organised and able to meet deadlines.
- Good communication and problem solving skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
