PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

Prefer Chinese Male, Sarawakian

Qualification
• Degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Industrial Management, Engineering & so on.

Experiences
• Minimum 2 - 5 years working experiences in related field

Skills
• Have mechanical maintenance background would be an added advantage
• Knowledge of production processes, Machinery, Lean manufacturing principles & relevant software for scheduling & inventory management

Responsibilities
• Strong understanding of steel manufacturing processes, equipment mechanics & raw material handling
• Supervising production staff: Assigning tasks, monitoring performance, providing guidance & conducting evaluations to ensure productivity & adherence
• Workflow management: Organizing & directing production processes to maintain a smooth & efficient workflow, coordinating shift, & ensuring timely completion of production targets
• Equipment & facility oversight: Ensuring machinery is functional, performing regular inspections & maintaining production facilities in compliance with safety regulations
• Training & development: Identifying skill gaps, organizing training programs & mentoring staff to enhance team performance
• Collaboration: Working with other departments, such as production planning & materials management, to synchronize operations & optimize efficiency
• Problem solving & risk management: Addressing production issue promptly, minimizing downtime & implementing preventive measures to maintain safety & productivity
• Ensuring smooth and accurate transition and handover of production activities from one shift to another
• Identifying gaps in resource needs and ensuring that they are met to ensure smooth functioning of the production schedule
• Able to work shift & overtime

Language
• Fluent in both oral and written in Mandarin, English and Malay Language
