CIVIL / PROJECT ENGINEER

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

• Supervise and monitor daily construction activities at project sites.
• Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Monitor site progress, workmanship and quality of construction work.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel.
• Assist in resolving technical and site-related issues.
• Conduct site inspections and maintain proper site records.
• Prepare progress reports, measurements and project documentation.
• Assist in planning and coordinating site activities to meet project schedules.
• Ensure compliance with site safety requirements and company procedures.
• Perform other project-related duties assigned by the management.

REQUIREMENTS:
 

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.
• Preferably 1–2 years of working experience in the construction industry.
• Candidates with experience in civil, infrastructure, building or related construction works will have an advantage.
• Fresh graduates with relevant site exposure or internship experience are also encouraged to apply.
• Willing to travel, visit project sites and be stationed at remote or outstation locations within Sarawak when required.
• Able to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a project team.
• Responsible, hardworking, adaptable and willing to learn.
• Valid driving license and own transport will be an advantage.
